Tech Display - Kara - 08/03/12 [DAILY DOSE]

Seriously, everyone should give this a watch. It's just sensational.

DAILY DOSE is a new section that I am introducing that may not happen quite everyday - time constraints or being away from a computer may well occur at some point - but for the timebeing I will be updating with a little video or pic that has caught my attention on the internet most days.

Today - and what a fantastic way to start - is the tech demonstration called Kara by a developer called Quantic Dream, who made the thrilling and alternative game Farenheit and the massively popular and compelling title Heavy Rain.

The team have said it is not taken from any title in development - but there may be themes or elements which do overlap with a title they're working on. Space or sci-fi setting, perhaps? Philosophical look at the morality and understanding of artificial intelligence, maybe? We shall see.

Whatever's going on underneath, this is still an incredible tech demo and totally worth 7 minutes of your time. It also shows that the PS3 has a long way to go before it's put out to pasture (in my opinion).
